Ingram offers a wide range of
micro-PLC's with a mix of analog and digital I/O capabilities, an integrated HMI
display and options to allow remote notification and control and Modbus
connectivity.
SR (Standard Relay)
Controllers
The SR family provides a full mix of
standard relay controller logic functions (AND/OR/XOR, COMPLEMENT) and built in
change of state detection.
A comprhensive set of timer and counter
functions are available, as well as both time and pulsed sequence
generation.
APB (Advanced Processing Block)
Controllers
The APB family expands on the SR family
by adding additional analog processing, extended memory and high speed digital
I/O. The APB family supports up to 320 functional blocks and provides 18
additional function block types.
Analog values may amplified,
linearized, manipulated using a MATH function block and activate control
sequences based on threshold and comparison functions. Several different
function blocks are available for monitoring and triggering events based on
analog values.
High speed digital I/O supports pulse
rates up to 10 kHz, supporting high speed counting and position control
applications.
Data storage is provided for
analog/timer/counter values that may be used to affect other function blocks and
may be maintained during power cycles.
Integrated HMI
An integrated HMI (Human Machine
Interface) unit allows displaying alarm and operating conditions. Operator
interaction allows setting and controlling analog and digital presets using 64
user defined menu sequences.
A complete comparison between the APB
and SR product families is available here.
The APB and SR product families meet a
full range of CE specifications. The full product specification for the APB and
SR product families is available here.
Development Support
SR and APB controllers are
programmed using Function Blocks. Similar to Ladder Logic processing blocks
(timers, counters etc), Function Block programming treats all control
structures, including simple combinatorial 'contact' strings as functional
blocks. This uniformity provides improved understanding, documentation and
maintenance of control sequences and is recognized as a standard
programming approach for modern day control and communications systems. To
