APB controllers provide support for a GSM based
telephone interface and a Modbus RTU communications interface.
The GSM telephone interface allows the APB module
to call a GSM based phone.
The APB-EXPMC Modbus adaptor allows the unit to be
connected to an RS485 Modbus RTU network.
The APB family of PLCs is UL508a
compliant when used with Class II power. (Applicable to the DC units.) Slave
UL508a compliant relays should be used when switching voltages greater than 48
Vdc.
